David Parker – Owner & Founder
David brings over 25 years of working dog experience to First State K9. He began his career handling a NASAR-certified wilderness search dog with a volunteer search and rescue team — an experience that shaped his philosophy of reliability, durability, and performance under real-world conditions.
He later served as a law enforcement officer, handling three dual-purpose and explosive detection K9s. In addition to operational deployments, he assisted in training multiple K9 teams and supporting unit development.
